In an attempt to be frugal and stretch my gaming hours even further I've been looking into F2P games lately.
1. King Arthur's Gold: Like Terraria it has a Minecraft + 2d Platformer vibe going on, except the game is centered around class-based team-deathmatch. Mining for gold and rocks is never quite as fun as when you are dodging catapults and arrows.
2. Star Trek Online: It is F2P now, and available on Steam. The space combat is similar to Pirates of the Burning Sea. It must be said that the largest reason I like the game is that I like Star Trek. If I didn't, the game probably wouldn't be as fun. If you like Star Trek give it a try, if not still give it a try, but I'm not promising you'll like it.
