Some of you know about the military blog I coauthor some done, but over the MLK holiday weekend a fellow milblogger sent a picture of an asshat posing as an Army BGen to a bunch of us and we started a huge group post trying to ID the guy. We found his name, where he lives, his SSN, and just about everything on the fucker. Long story short, the FBI arrested him Friday night and he is rotting away in jail until he sees a judge Monday morning. You have to see the crap this guy had on his chest to fully grasp how big of a douchebag this guy really is. He is wearing a Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star, Bronze Star, and a Purple Heart among numerous foreign awards.

this is just wrong, give him his year, but at Fort Leavenworth, see how a few soldiers who have been stripped of their honors feel about this guy stealing some for himself
How about forced enlistment? Send him to Afganistan or Iraq and give him a chance to earn some of those ribbons and medals...that is of course after he completes basic and everything else. Give him some perspective, so he knows why what he did is wrong.
only if we went back to having conscripted soldiers or maybe a foreign leigon like the french do, but i wouldn't stick a piece of shit like that with soldiers who actually volunteered to fight for their country. it would be like putting the last pick in gym class with the varsity football team.... if varsity football teams had cannon fodder that is...

Definitely not. We trust each other with their lives over there. I've even seen real soldiers I wouldn't trust in Afghanistan. There's no way in hell I'd want him watching somebody's son or daughter's back in the sandbox. Let him pick up trash along the interstate or break big rocks into smaller rocks for a year. I think we all know what prisoners do to fairies, I'd rather go to Afghanistan than an American prison.
