That's right folks. If you have not heard the news, Steve Jobs has resigned as CEO of Apple because of his health. "I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple's CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come," he said in a brief letter announcing his resignation. He has asked to be chairman of the board, which he was able to do. In his place, Jobs placed Tim Cook as his successor, who has taken the position before in one of Jobs' absences. What will happen to Apple after losing the man who has been in charge for over 14 years? Only time will tell.
